NINA Métayer
Deeply attached to family values, to sharing, and to a love of life’s finer things, Nina Métayer’s vision perfectly aligns with Jacadi Paris mission: to rekindle the magic of childhood and pass on its best qualities. This collaboration, conceived as an ode to childhood memories, was born from a shared ambition — to celebrate and promote French excellence, craftsmanship, and elegance throughout the world.
Trained at the prestigious École Ferrandi, Nina Métayer honed her craft in Parisian palaces. At Le Meurice, under the direction of Yannick Alléno, she joined the brigade of Camille Lesecq, before being appointed Pastry Chef at Hôtel Le Raphaël by Amandine Chaignot. She later collaborated with Jean-François Piège, who entrusted her with creating the dessert menu of his new Parisian restaurant, Le Grand Restaurant, which went on to earn two Michelin stars.
Her journey across luxury hospitality, Michelin-starred gastronomy, pastry boutiques and bakeries shaped a boundless curiosity for taste as a vector of emotion. Before the age of 30, she was twice named Pastry Chef of the Year: in 2016 by Le Chef magazine and in 2017 by Gault & Millau.
In 2021, she opened her first retail space at Printemps du Goût in Paris. In 2023, she became the first woman to be awarded World Pastry Chef by the International Union of Bakers and Pastry Chefs, a distinction echoed the following year in Las Vegas when the esteemed World’s 50 Best Academy named her World’s Best Pastry Chef 2024.
These honours shine a light on what Nina Métayer has always considered the essence of her craft: creating pastries that awaken the senses and stir deep emotion.
